Dr. Colette Amit, PT, DPT, MSHSA, ATP

PhysicalOne Executive Director

Colette is the Executive Director of PhysicalOne: a thriving, state-of-the-art, outpatient physical therapy practice in Plantation, FL. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Tel-Aviv University in Israel and earned a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Barry University in Miami. Colette pursued her passion and graduated from Evidence in Motion (EIM) with her doctorate in PT on 2019.

Prior to launching PhysicalOne in 2005, Colette practiced physical therapy for more than 25 years in acute-care and rehabilitation hospitals, nursing home facilities, home health settings and outpatient clinics. She also became a tenured faculty member in Miami-Dade College’s Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Colette is a delegate of the Southeastern District of the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) and is a frequent speaker on pain management, balance, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Dr. Amit regularly attends networking events with the Sunrise and Plantation Chambers of Commerce. Colette resides with her family in Plantation, FL. Her hobbies include dancing, reading, camping, and running half-marathons.

Ofer Amit

A husband, a father, and a grandfather; an engineer, an entrepreneur and a businessman; a healthcare administrator, consultant, speaker and panelist. An immigrant and world traveler now living with his family in Plantation, FL. Dreamed, conceptualized, operationalized and brought PhysicalOne to life. Likes movies, SCUBA diving, mountain biking and coffee and bagel in the morning.

Dr. Cara Hoffer, PT, DPT

Pelvic & Women’s Health Specialist
Cara Hoffer received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with emphasis in Physiology from San Francisco State University. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University. Cara graduated on the Dean’s List with Highest Academic Honors. She was also the recipient of the Chancellor’s Award honoring dedication to the field of Physical Therapy for her class year. Cara is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA), and Alpha Eta Honor Society. Cara brings vast clinical experience from outpatient, rehabilitation, and acute care settings to PhysicalOne. Her friendly, warm, and thoughtful approach to treatment complements her didactic knowledge and clinical experience. Cara’s specific interest is in orthopedic injuries and other orthopedic conditions of all ages. She is interested in becoming an educator of Physical Therapy students in both clinical and academic setting. Women’s Health is a field where she has developed her passion and sought opportunities to further her knowledge. As a mother of two young children, she has become a mentor and coach to so many women in need of her specialty. Cara incorporates various strengthening approaches and understands the value of integrating pelvic floor physical therapy to our treatment program. Cara enjoys spending time with her husband and young toddler as well as her extended friends and family. She enjoys traveling, listening to music, working out, yoga, gardening, and crafting projects.


Dr. Austin Bruhl, PT, DPT, CSCS

Physical Therapist
Austin obtained his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie. Prior to attending NSU, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Austin is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also holds an advanced-level certification in applied kinesiotaping. Austin’s professional experience includes patients and trainees of diverse conditions and backgrounds such as professional and semi-professional athletes, geriatrics, cardiovascular and neuromuscular rehab, joint replacement surgery, and youth injuries. Austin enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their spirited kittens, exercising, playing piano, traveling to new destinations, and is an avid Chicago sports fan.


Patient Care Coordinator
Kelyn Raulston graduated from Broward College with an Associate’s degree in Radiography. She is currently working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Science. Kelyn brings to PhysicalOne rich experience as a medical office professional providing front-desk representation, administrative support and excellent customer service. Kelyn’s hobby is photography and she enjoy spending time with her two kids.


Betty Morales

Patient Care Coordinator
Betty Morales was born in Cartagena, Colombia and she immigrated to Florida with her family in 1997. In Colombia, she pursued a degree in system Engineering. Upon arrival to USA, she found a great interest in accounting systems and mastered her knowledge in Tax related services where she proudly helped many clients to meet their tax and financial goals and provide them with great customer service. Betty joined PhysicalOne Team with a great passion to master Healthcare and establish a long lasting relationship with the people around her. She is married with two kids and currently resides in the city of Weston, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing origami, love dancing, listening to music and watching movies with her family and friends.

Alexandria Miller

Alexandria Miller, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant
Alexandria (Allie) received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with emphasis in Pre-physical therapy from Bloomsburg University, Pennsylvania. She later graduated with Associates Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from Keiser University, West Palm Beach, earning recognition as valedictorian of her class. Allie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA), and Phi Theta Kapa Honor Society. Allie likes traveling and enjoys spending her free time at the beach and in activities involving water and the ocean.


Inbal Amit

Patient Care Coordinator, PT Extender

Inbal is a student at Broward College in Davie, FL majoring in Health Sciences. She hopes to transfer to the University of Florida to continue her education in the medical field. She is a Patient Care Coordinator answering calls and greeting clients and their family with a smile. Inbal is also an experienced PT Extender and is assisting with patient care if needed. She enjoys dancing, exercising, traveling, playing the piano, and going to the beach.

Grether was born in Cuba. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from Universidad Central de Las Villas. Currently, she is working toward her Associate’s degree in Broward College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program. Grether brings to PhysicalOne enthusiasm, great customer service awareness, and a commitment to learn. She enjoys movies, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.


Elisabeth Dubois

PT Extender

Native of Plantation, Elisabeth received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL in 2016. Prior to joining PhysicalOne, Elisabeth worked in the Physical Therapy Department of Florida State University’s Health and Wellness Center. She brings to PhysicalOne a wealth of knowledge and experience working in wellness and fitness-type settings. Elisabeth is interested in pursuing a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT). She enjoys spending time with family and close friends, loves traveling the world, and likes going to the beach, listening to music, watching movies, and doing arts and crafts.
