DR. COLETTE AMIT, PT, DPT, MSHSA

Executive Director

Colette practiced physical therapy for over 25 years in acute care, rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, home health settings and outpatient clinics. She is the Executive Director of PhysicalOne, an outpatient physical therapy practice in Plantation, FL.

OFER AMIT, BSME, MSEM

Co-Founder

A husband, father, and grandfather; an engineer, entrepreneur, and businessman; a healthcare administrator, consultant, speaker, and panelist. Ofer dreamed, conceptualized, operationalized, and brought PhysicalOne to life alongside his family in Plantation, FL.

MARTHA ACUNA

Manager of Administrative Operations

At PhysicalOne, Martha is responsible for overseeing the operations and staff to implement a client-centered clinical approach. Martha recently moved to Florida where she plays golf and pickleball in her free time. She continues to enjoy the warm weather and welcome of Florida.

ANGELINA GARCIA, PT, MSPT

Physical Therapist

Angelina has practiced physical therapy for over 21 years in acute care, trauma, rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient settings. She knew at a very young age that she wanted to become a physical therapist.

JESSICA GERGEL, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Jessica is an FSU alum where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. She graduated from FIU in 2023 where she got her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has experience in orthopedics and pediatric conditions.

SEBASTIAN OSORIO, PT

Physical Therapist

Sebastian has practiced physical therapy for over 12 years in acute care, trauma, rehabilitation hospitals, sports medicine and outpatiente settings. In addition, he has been practicing sports massage, deep tissue, therapeutic massage, and myofascial release for more than three years as a licensed massage therapist.

ALEXANDRIA MILLER, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Alexandria (Allie) received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with emphasis in Pre-physical therapy from Bloomsburg University, Pennsylvania. She later graduated with an Associates Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Keiser University as valedictorian.

ELISABETH DUBOIS, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Elisabeth received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL in 2016, and graduated from Kaiser University as a Physical Therapist Assistant on August 2021. She brings to PhysicalOne a wealth of knowledge and experience working in wellness and fitness-type settings.

TRAVIS ANSELMO

Physical Therapist Assistant

Travis graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Concorde Career College in September of 2023. He was recognized and received High-Honors from his school for his academic performance and perfect attendance rate.

Inbal is a Patient Care Coordinator answering calls and greeting clients and their family with a smile. Inbal is also an experienced PT Extender and is assisting with patient care if needed

ENYA VILAHOMAT

Patient Care Coordinator

Enya was born in Cuba . She worked for 4 years as an Authorization specialist for the Radiology department at the University of Utah. As a Patient Care Coordinator, her responsibilities include answer patient calls, emails and questions, finding insurance estimates ,schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions.

Was in the Davie area for work and had back /neck problems. Was referred here and they didn't disappoint at all! Great staff all around. Great facility. Most importantly the treatment helps a lot. The stretching was helpful and the icing on the cake (my favorite part because it took away the pain instantly) was the deep tissue massage, followed by the tens unit, and finally.... THE BIOFREEZE/ICE MASSAGE!!! I have my wife so it anytime my back is sore. All in all, they are great. If you need help getting healed quickly even if you're just sore and tensed up.... Give them a call and get yourself taken care of! Thanks everyone over at PhysicalOne!!!

The best place to get physical therapy, if you need it. You are going to feel better from the first time. Every one of those young people know what they are doing, and do it with happiness and compassion. Inbal receives you with a smile and remembers your name, so you feel welcome as soon as you enter. The place is neat and they take every precaution for your safety. I feel 100% better than when I started, snd will miss Ayla, Richard, Allie, Austin, and everyone else. I hope I stay painless, but if I ever need what they have to offer, I would not go anywhere else.

Today I met with Dr. Colette Amit for the first time for an evaluation. I must share with you that this was the best professional experience I have had. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Her support staff is also top notch. If you find yourself in the situation where you are in need of PT- you must make an appointment with her office. I learned in the first visit so many things that i am doing incorrectly and I was given exercises to start at home. I will keep you updated as i continue.

I selected PhysicalOne as my therapist for my ACL and MCL tear rehab after reading Soo many comments on many different places. And I can only day the facility and it's people are amazing. Heavily invested in a total rehab while focusing on the specific need. Austin was my primary but all the other PTs and extenders are equally amazing. Very attentive, patient, supportive and have a great understanding of the body as related to physical wellbeing. From my first consult to every day after I've been impressed, see the progress and look forward to the challenges every session. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a PT and rehab location locally. And of course the location is tidy and welcoming. I don't hope to hurt myself again but if I do.. I'll be renewing a block of visits with PhysicalOne.
