What should I expect during physical therapy sessions?
Physical therapy sessions typically involve an assessment of your condition, manual techniques toimprove mobility and flexibility, individualized exercises and activities to help you reach your goals,education on how to prevent further injury or pain, and instruction on proper posture, bodymechanics and other lifestyle changes.
What if my shoulder pain extends into my neck?
Neck and shoulder pain often go hand-in-hand due to tension in the trapezius and surrounding muscles. Our therapy includes manual techniques and postural corrections to address both areas.
How do I pay for the services I received?
At PhysicalOne, we accept the following insurance plans:

How long does a Physical Therapy session last?
No more than 90 minutes for your initial sessions. After that, they last 30 – 60 minutes.
Which payment types do you accept?
Cash, checks, and major credit cards are all accepted at PhysicalOne. Please note that your copayment and coinsurance are collected at the time of service.
When should I seek treatment for my hip and knee pain?

Most patients recover within 6-12 weeks, but timelines vary based on injury severity and commitment to therapy. Your customized rehab plan will set clear progress goals and milestones.
How long does ACL recovery take?
Surgical recovery typically takes 9-12 months for a full return to sports, while non-surgical treatment timelines depend on individual knee stability and rehabilitation progress.
When should I start rehab after an injury?
Early intervention leads to better outcomes. Even starting with gentle movement in the first few days after an injury can accelerate healing and prevent secondary issues.
What’s the best sleeping position for neck health?
Sleeping on your back with a supportive pillow helps maintain proper alignment. Avoid sleeping on your stomach, as it can strain your neck.
When should I seek treatment for shoulder pain?
If your pain persists for more than two weeks, worsens with movement, or limits your ability to lift, reach, or sleep comfortably, it’s time for a professional evaluation.
Should I rest or stay active during physical therapy treatment?
Movement is essential for healing, but balancing activity with recovery is key. Your therapist will guide you through the best approach for your condition.
Do I need to complete an intake form?
Yes. And you can do it from the comfort of your home. We’ll send you an email or text message with a link to the intake, consent, and authorization forms. Have those ready before coming in for a quick and smooth start to treatment.
What causes vestibular disorders?
Common causes include inner ear infections, head trauma, concussions, and certain medications that disrupt balance function.
How will I know when I no longer need physical therapy?
Your physical therapist should be able to provide guidance on when it is appropriate to stop attending physical therapy sessions based on your progress, goals, and overall health status. It’s important to listen to your therapist and continue with treatment until they feel you are ready to move on.
