Martha Acuna has a multicultural professional and educational background. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology in Bogota, Colombia. She completed her Master’s degree in social science at Buenos Aires University in Argentina while on scholarship from the European Community. Martha traveled to multiple countries in Europe and South America to develop community programs for adolescents with drug abuse problems. Before joining Physical One, Martha was the clinical administrator of the World Trade Center Health program at Stony Brook Hospital in New York; which focuses on the treatment of the first responders involved in 9/11. At Physical One, Martha is responsible for overseeing the operations and staff to implement a client-centered clinical approach. Martha recently moved to Florida where she plays golf and pickleball in her free time. She continues to enjoy the warm weather and welcome of Florida.
