Cara Hoffer received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with emphasis in Physiology from San Francisco State University. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University. Cara graduated on the Dean’s List with Highest Academic Honors. She was also the recipient of the Chancellor’s Award honoring dedication to the field of Physical Therapy for her class year. Cara is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA), and Alpha Eta Honor Society. Cara brings vast clinical experience from outpatient, rehabilitation, and acute care settings to PhysicalOne. Her friendly, warm, and thoughtful approach to treatment complements her didactic knowledge and clinical experience. She has a passion for Women’s Health/Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, a field she has heavily invested in and has sought opportunities to further her knowledge. She also enjoys treating patients with orthopedic conditions of all ages. As a mother of two young children, she has become a mentor and coach to so many women in need of her specialty. And is interested in becoming an educator of Physical Therapy students in both clinical and academic setting. Cara incorporates various strengthening approaches and understands the value of integrating pelvic floor physical therapy to our treatment program. Cara enjoys spending time with her husband and young children as well as her extended friends and family. She enjoys traveling, listening to music, working out, yoga, gardening, and crafting projects.
